How to Get the Teleporter in Lethal Company

The teleporter is available in your ship’s terminal store under Ship Upgrades for 375 scrap. To find this shop page, enter your terminal, type store, teleporter, and confirm.

Buying the teleporter lets you place it anywhere in your ship or on the map, allowing you to teleport after landing on a moon.

How Does the Teleporter Work in Lethal Company?

The teleporter allows you to warp anyone back to its location by pressing the button on the desk next to your ship’s console. Upon pressing the button, the player you’re spectating on the ship’s monitor will warp to the teleporter after a short delay, dropping their items along the way.

That’s right; anyone you teleport back to your location will drop everything in their inventory, including flashlights, walkie-talkies, and valuables. If someone carries hundreds of scrap worth of items, try to wait until they manually run back to the ship unless they’re close to death.

To choose who to teleport to your location, you must change your ship monitor’s perspective to whoever you plan to bring back. The teleporter chooses your target depending on who you spectate on the monitor. You can use the small white button on the screen to change it.

What is the Difference Between the Regular and Inverse Teleporters?

While the regular teleporter allows you to warp a chosen player back to its location, an inverse teleporter transports any player inside its warp beam to a random location inside a moon’s facility. Unlike the normal teleporter bringing one person back at a time, the inverse teleporter can move multiple players simultaneously. However, the inverse teleporter send everyone to different locations, making communicating and locating one another difficult.

In other words, while a normal teleporter potentially saves someone from harm, inverse teleporters warp you into the heart of danger. , leaving you to fend for yourself against monsters without any light, weapons, or communication with your team.

How to Get and Use the Inverse Teleporter in Lethal Company

The Inverse Teleporter can be purchased for 425 scrap in the terminal store within the game. You’ll find it under Ship Upgrades. To get to the shop, you’ll need to type “store” while in the terminal. Click the Inverse Teleporter then purchase. To use it, place it on your ship, then activate it within the console with the big button. You can then stand inside of it to teleport.

As we said earlier, the inverse teleporter drops you and your crew in a random area on the ship. Upon doing this, every item in your hotbar will drop to the ground. That makes the inverse teleporter incredibly dangerous to use, as you’ll be lost in a random location with no means to fend for yourself or navigate your surroundings.

With that being said, there are some uses for it you might find helpful. You can have someone stay behind on the ship and help you navigate the uncharted area. You may find a lot of potential loot through this method. For players looking for more challenge, the inverse teleporter may satisfy that, as it throws you into a dangerous area with pretty much nothing.
