How to Update HoloCure: Update Guide

HoloCure is constantly evolving thanks to the hard work of its developers, and new content is constantly added to the game, including items, resources, enemies, and playable characters. To get all of this new content, you need to update HoloCure. If you don’t know how to perform the update, here’s everything you need to know.

How to Perform HoloCure Update

Since HoloCure isn’t available through Steam or another traditional distribution service, you won’t be notified of new updates. As a result, updating HoloCure is not automatic.

Here’s everything you need to do:

Update Through Itch.io

Itch.io is a website where you can download, and update indie video games. HoloCure can be found here. 

1. Type HoloCure in the search bar.
2. Click on HoloCure. 
3. Scroll down the official HoloCure page and find the Download / Update button. 
4. This will automatically replace old HoloCure files on your PC with new ones. 

Manual Update

There is another option if you arent using Itch.io. 

1. Visit the official HoloCure website.
2. Scroll down the website and find the download button. 
3. Download the latest .zip file. 
4. Once the download is done, extract the files in the .zip folder. 
5. Copy new files into the original HoloCure folder on your PC. 

Congratulations, you have successfully performed the HoloCure update. 

Don’t worry about your save game because the save file is located in another folder and won’t be jeopardized by updates. However, it will work only on your PC. Don’t try copying the save file to a different PC – it won’t work.
