As an RPG, Hogwarts Legacy has a variety of character-building systems and features from player customization to the various houses of the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. When Can You Unlock Talents in Hogwarts Legacy?

Up until completion of the story mission Jackdaw’s Rest, the Talents section of the menu will remain locked, displaying the message “progress through the main story to unlock.” Talents will become available at the end of Jackdaw’s Rest, which can be started upon finishing Professor Hecat’s Assignment 2, and after the House-specific quests, which are “Ollivander’s Heirloom” for Ravenclaw players, “The Hunt for the Missing Pages” for Gryffindor students, “Prisoner of Love” for the Hufflepuff class, and “Scrope’s Last Hope” for Slytherin gamers.

Hogwarts Legacy Talent Skill Trees and Information

There are five Talent Trees in Hogwarts Legacy, which are Spells, Dark Arts, Core, Stealth, and Room of Requirement, with each providing unique abilities when talent points are invested in the respective skill trees. This is where the roleplaying mechanics truly begin in Hogwarts Legacy, as a sneaky character can utilize Stealth talents, while gamers with a penchant for evil might prefer to invest in the Dark Arts.

How to Obtain Talent Points in Hogwarts Legacy

Talent Points are earned through leveling up your character, which occurs upon completing missions, side quests, finding field guide pages, etc. Make sure to use your Talent Points wisely, as you cannot “respec” or reallocate your talent points once you have spent them.
