Like any good action game, there are multiple incentives to replay the game, and Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound has loads of those. It also comes with three different endings, each with an associated achievement to earn. Unlocking each ending has different requirements; however, it’s worth seeing them all.
Here is how you can unlock each ending in Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound.

There are three different endings in Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound, and you need to finish the game on both the regular and hard difficulty to unlock all three. Here is a breakdown of the requirements for each ending:
How To Unlock Ending A
To unlock Ending A, choose Kumori when prompted with the question, ‘Who will escape Hell and seal the door?’ after defeating the boss in level 4-6 on the regular difficulty mode.
Finishing the game with Ending A will unlock the Venom achievement or trophy.
How To Unlock Ending B
To unlock Ending B, choose Kenji when prompted with the question, ‘Who will escape Hell and seal the door?’ after defeating the boss in level 4-6 on the regular difficulty mode.
Finishing the game with Ending B will unlock the Inner Peace achievement or trophy.
How To Unlock the Secret Ending
To unlock the secret ending for Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound, you need the follow the steps below:
- First, finish the game on the regular difficulty to unlock Hard mode.
- After you’ve unlocked Hard mode, you need to beat the game on this difficulty.
- Finishing 4-6 will not end the game this time, and you will unlock level 5-1: Endless Struggle.
- This is a boss rush mode where you’ll fight the hard versions of several main bosses from the game, and you will not be able to heal during this.
- You can play as Kenji or Kumori, and I highly recommend selecting Kumori because her damage output is considerably higher than Kenji’s.
After you have beaten the boss gauntlet, you will unlock the Secret Ending and receive the Endless Struggle achievement. You will get a different ending visual for beating the game with each character, but the achievement is the same and only needs to be unlocked once.
Beating this level, which is the game at hard mode, will also give you two more costumes, one for each character.

- Kumori – Runaway Ninja
Does Assist Mode Disable Achievements in Ninja Gaiden Ragebound?
No, enabling assist mode or using any of the accessibility features in Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound does not stop you from earning achievements. So, technically, you can turn off incoming damage entirely and beat level 5-1 if you’re struggling.
