If you want Shadow Legendary Pokemon, you’re going to need to hunt the elusive Giovanni, the leader of Team GO Rocket. And to do that, you’ll need a Super Rocket Radar. But what if there was a way to choose which Shadow Legendary Pokemon you encountered? What if you could even stack these radars? Here’s how to Stack Super Rocket Radars in Pokemon GO.
How to Stack Super Rocket Radars in Pokemon GO
The current array of Pokemon that are available as Shadow types are the various Regis… but what if you want a particular Shadow Legendary? Perhaps a Shadow Mewtwo or Rayquaza? Maybe even multiple of them? If that’s the case, you’ll want to stack multiple Super Rocket Radars.
So, here’s how to do it:
In order to obtain the next Team GO Rocket Special story, all Team Go Rocket Special Research stories that are in your special tab must stay on page one (1/5). You do this by leaving at least one unclaimed reward on page one. As long as there’s one unclaimed reward on page one, the story remains on page one.
If you go past page one, you can’t save the Team Go Rocket Special Research stories for the Shadow Legendary you want. That’s because you can’t receive future Team Go Rocket Special Research stories once you’re past page one.
Is this a bug? Maybe. But it works well in our favor.
If you happened to go to page two, complete the Team Go Rocket Special Research story or save it for Regirock. Then you can start the process of stacking Super Rocket Radars. It should look like the screen below.

Once you have a Shadow Legendary you want, you’ll the complete one of the stacked stories in your Special Research tabs. For example, Shadowy Skirmishes. Or if you want three of that Shadow Legendary, complete three stacks.
Good luck!
