You awaken in a garden with the voice of Elohim, or God, speaking to you. He instructs you to solve a series of puzzles. Among the first of which is labeled ‘L – L’. This is a set of three puzzles, with each puzzle you complete netting you three sigils, which will grant you the keys to open a door.

You could say that this puzzle is one of the building blocks of the game. Let’s jump right in.

How to Solve the First ‘L’ Puzzle in The Talos Principle 2

In the first ‘L’ room, you’ll see another force field and two blocks.

Use a block on the pressure panel in front of the force field to make the force field drop.

Then, grab the second block and stack it on the box that’s inside.

Jump on the box that’s on the pressure panel, then jump on the stack of two boxes. From here, you can then jump up to the L’s platform.

How to Solve the Second ‘L’ Puzzle in The Talos Principle 2

In the second ‘L’ room, you’ll see a stack of two boxes. Grab the top box and bring it over to the start of the room with a shorter fence and a box inside.

Place the box against the short fence. Then, jump on top of the box you brought over, and look carefully down on the box in the fenced-in area. It may take a bit of finagling, but you’ll eventually get a prompt to pick up that box.

Carry your new box over to the tall fence. Just like the last puzzle, we’ll need to create stairs. Stack two boxes together, then put another box nearby.

Jump on the lower box, then on the stack of two boxes, then over the fence.

You can then climb the stairs to claim the next ‘L.’

How to Solve the ‘—’ Puzzle in The Talos Principle

Use the box on the pressure point to lower the force field.

Once inside, jump onto the box immediately in front of you and then onto the platform.

Turn around and then grab the box you just jumped on.

With that box, head forward towards the – and place the box below that platform. Jump on top of it to grab the –.

And now you have all three sigils, enough to open the first locked door.
