Although the event seems to change every year, Lantern Fest has returned to Fortnite in Chapter 4 Season 2, and this time the festivities will take place on a special creative island. Along with the new island that has some mini-games, there are a few quests that players can complete for rewards.
One of the quests that players are tasked with is to solve a Lantern Puzzle within the Lantern Fest Tour creative island. There are about four that you can solve on the island, but you only need one, and we’ll cover how to easily get a solution in our Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 guide.
Fortnite Lantern Fest Tour – How to Solve a Lantern Puzzle
The first step to solving the puzzle is actually reaching the island. To do this, you can look for the creative map in the featured tab, or you can save yourself some time and enter the code. The code to reach the Lantern Fest Tour is 3691-9667-3687. As soon as you enter the code, the mode will appear and you can join the map.
Once you’ve loaded into the island, everyone in the lobby will start in the same place and multiple objectives will be placed around the map. To start solving the easiest Lantern Puzzle, simply head north past the Bounty Bolivard, which is where you start. Just northwest of the starting area on the main path is a green shack with a pointed roof. Head inside this and start the puzzle.

You’ll have 30 seconds to solve the puzzle, which involves selecting cylinders with symbols in the correct order. The solution is Camel, Sun, Island, Cactus, and Palm Tree in that order. That’s all there is to solve a Lantern Puzzle, and then you can be on your way to the rest of the map or the standard Fortnite modes.
