Steam How to Refund a Game

Trading on Steam is a big thing for years now, with many players worldwide making a living out of the “buying low, selling high” doctrine and not even playing the games related to the items they are trading, whether it’s CS:GO, Dota 2, Team Fortress 2, or anything else. You are here on Prima Games because you are wondering how you can set up your trade URL on Steam so that you can post it in a trade group.

How to Create Your Trade URL on Steam to Take Trade Offers

First things first, you must set your inventory privacy to Public. You do this by opening your own Profile on Steam and opening “Edit Profile” from the right side of the screen (under your Level).

From there, go to “Privacy Settings” on the left edge of the screen. There, you should find the Inventory option and toggle that so that it reads “Public”. (Your profile might need to be Public as well!).

Now, move back to your Inventory on Steam. On the right side, you will see the gray-blue button “Trade Offers” which you should click.

Now, in the new menu, hit the “Who can send me Trade Offers?” option on the right side.

Ta-da! I hope you have reached this point without issues because the finish line is right here! Under Third-Party Sites, you will see the Trade URL and the Create New URL. That URL can then be pasted on various trading forums, to trading bots on trading websites, to your friends, placed on your profile, etc…

With it, people can send you a trade offer which you can consider from your notifications.

Be careful when trading and double-check what you are getting and what you’re giving and turn on the authenticator.

If you want to disable the Trading URL you just need to create a new one. That is it! Thank you for visiting Prima Games, we hope to see you soon.
