How to Reset Spell Points in V Rising

To respec your spell points in V Rising, you’ll need to construct and interact with an Altar of Recollection. This becomes a permanent fixture in your castle and can be used without paying any blood essence. Here’s a step-by-step guide on exactly what you need to do.

1) Farm Resources and Place Down Altar of Recollection

The first step you’ll need to do is farm 180 Stone and 10 Blood Essence. Once done, figure out where you’d like to place the Altar of Recollection and then build the structure. The Altar of Recollection is quite a small structure, so it shouldn’t take up too much space.

2) Interact with Altar of Recollection

After the Altar of Recollection has been placed, simply interact with the structure and a menu should pop up. Within this menu, you’ll see six schools of magic — Blood, Chaos, Frost, Illusion, Storm, and Unholy — click on which type of magic you’d like to reset. You won’t need to pay anything to reset your spell points but note that interacting with the Altar of Recollection will completely reset the entire tree of that specific school of magic.

3) Pick Out New Spells and Have Fun

After you’ve reset your chosen school of magic, you can head into the Spellbook menu and learn whatever spells you’d like. This feature allows you to play around with various builds and gives you multiple chances to discover what works best for you.

And that’s how you can respec spell points in V Rising. Feel free to read some of our other guides, covering features like the longbow and how to unlock the Spider Form in the game.
