If you’ve been on the Destiny 2: Shadowkeep weapon hunt then you’ve probably come across some pretty pesky requirements. Still reading because you’re hellbent on resetting your Valor? Alright, you maniac. Keep going, then. In order to reset your Valor, you’re actually going to have to hit the highest rank possible for Crucible enthusiasts. This means that you’re going to have to earn 2000 Valor points to be eligible for this service i.e. you have to grind past Legend rank.

Once you’ve hit what is arguably the pinnacle of PVP achievement, you’ll be given the option to reset your rank should you choose to. To access this option, navigate to the Director and the Crucible menu, then over to Quickplay. If you’re already at the 2000 Valor points cap, you’ll be asked if you want to reset your rank. Just select the affirmative and voila! You’ll be kicked right back down to the lowest Crucible rank – Guardian – and ready to do it all again. If you reset your Valor, you’re going to receive:

  • An Emblem
  • Some gear
  • The chance to be one step closer to getting Redrix’s Broadsword (which requires you to reset your Valor 5 times)

And there you have it. Starting again from zero with your Valor can be quite the trek, but it’s going to be necessary if you consider yourself part of the creme de la creme of weapon collectors. With our handy guide on how to reset Valor in Destiny 2: Shadowkeep, the process should be crystal clear. Need some assistance with anything else, Guardian?
