How to Read Laswell’s Letter in DMZ

Time to gather intel.

Factions have been reset in the Call of Duty DMZ and one of the first missions tied to the Black Mous Faction is called Laswell’s Letter. This story mission is what allows players to pass Tier 1 after reaching level 3, and though reading Laswell’s Letter seems simple, getting there can be confusing. Here’s how to read Laswell’s Letter in COD DMZ.

DMZ – How to Read Laswell’s Letter

To read Laswell’s Letter in DMZ, you need to open up the Mission Objectives tab and select the notes collection. The Mission Objectives tab can be found in the DMZ menu, next to the Deploy button, which has always been used to start a match. In past seasons, this tab was only used for Faction Missions, but now it’s the main hub for the Forward Operating Base. It took me a few minutes to get used to the new UI, but it’s better.

When you open up the Mission Objectives, the notes collection can be found all the way on the right side of the screen. Open the notes collection and make sure that you have the Al Mazrah side on screen. Laswell’s Letter will be at the top of the Al Mazrah tab, and you can simply select this note to read the description.

How to Complete Laswell’s Letter in DMZ

After you find the letter in the notes collection, that’s just the start. You need to read the objective inside and then complete it before the Story Mission is officially done. Laswell’s Letter says, “Go to an upload station at the top of a radio tower and resume the upload for us.”

That means you simply need to find one of the massive towers for the Secure Intel contracts, and based on what the intel says, it must be in Al Mazrah. Resume the upload and the Laswell’s Letter mission will be complete.

To make sure you survive your mission to the radio tower, make sure you have the best loadout for the Tempus Razorback, which is the latest assault rifle added to the DMZ.
