With Season 5 Chapter 2 of Fortnite upon us, players will find a handful of themed points of interest scattered about the map, including The Underworld. Brawler’s Battleground, and Mount Olympus. Here’s how to reach The Underworld in Fortnite!
Where to Find The Underworld in Fortnite
You can find The Underworld in the Northwest of the map, between Grim Gate and Lavish Lair, and the bus will usually pass close enough by that you can reach it with your Glider fairly easily. I managed to land on the bridge leading to the temple itself aboveground.
It’s a popular place right now, considering this new season just started. Everyone wants to check out the unique POIs that are part of the Myths & Mortals content.
Unfortunately, the downside to exploring The Underworld is its position on the map. It’s the northwesternmost POI, making it difficult to traverse the landscape toward the center of the zone whenever the storm begins. You’re in for a run!
What You’ll Find at The Underworld in Fortnite
Alongside an epic proportion of loot to uncover, including plenty of gold chests, some of which drop the new weapons added this season, like the Warforged Assault Rifle, you’ll find the occasional weapon and item spawning randomly on the ground.
But as I said before, this is a popular POI right now. Within seconds of touching the ground, I was in a firefight against Peter Griffin and Jonesy, one on either side, with me fighting for my life on the bridge spanning the POI. As Alan Wake, I rose to the occasion and stumbled out the other side alive!
I highly recommend dropping by The Underworld. It’s a winding, snaking maze of stonework and canals that offer the perfect backdrop for a battle royale!
While in The Underworld, learn about searching for an Olympus Chest or Underworld Chest! You’ll earn sweet loot and complete a challenge!
