Sometimes, casual is better. At least, that’s what Simba seems to think. And while it’s questionable to take fashion advice from a lion, you’re going to need to do so if you want to continue the Hakuna Matata quest line. Here’s how to put together a casual outfit in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to Put Together a Casual Outfit in Disney Dreamlight Valley: Hakuna Matata Quest Guide
Hakuna Matata – it means no worries. And that means putting on your most casual digs and fits. That’s what Simba wants to see you in, anyway, as he instructs you to put on a casual outfit. It’s possible you’ll automatically complete this step of the quest line depending on what you’re wearing. But if you’re like me, you’re tromping around the savannah in a full-length ivory ball gown and need to switch things up.
Fortunately, finding a casual fit is pretty easy, especially if you already have a filled out wardrobe.
- Head into your inventory.
- Select the Wardrobe menu.
- Navigate into the clothing list.
- Select Filters.
- Scroll down to Style.
- Select “Casual” from the options.
- Head back into the list of clothes.

If you follow the steps above, you’ll find your entire assortment of casual clothing items. You’re going to need at least three to fulfill Simba’s expectations for casual clothes.
But if you don’t have three, that’s okay. Head to Scrooge McDuck’s shops and see if he has Casual clothes available. Purchase the clothing item, slap it on, and return to Simba to model out your new outfit.
He really doesn’t care if it clashes. He’s all about that casual aesthetic. And once he sees you in your casual outfit, you’ll be able to continue to the next step in the Hakuna Matata quest line. Congrats!
