How to Pre-register for Pokémon TCG Pocket

The power of Charizard, in the palm of my hands.

The Pokémon Company and Creatures Inc. have finally unveiled the release date for the Pokémon TCG Pocket, the upcoming digital adaptation of the popular trading card game. Pokémon TCG Pocket is coming exclusively to mobile devices at the moment, and here is how you can pre-register for it on both Android and iOS devices.

Pokémon TCG Pocket Pre-registeration Available

To pre-register for Pokémon TCG Pocket, simply visit the following store links and click the pre-register button. You will need to be signed in to your Google or Apple account for this to work.

While the Android requirements aren’t currently listed, Pokémon TCG Pocket requires iOS version 13.0 to be played on both the iPhone and iPad.

According to the store page, players will be awarded two booster packs daily at no cost, which will be added to their collections. While the cards will feature iconic illustrations we’ve come to love over the years, there are also new cards that are completely exclusive to the digital version.

In addition, there are also “immersive cards”, which have a 3D feel, similar to what we have seen in card games like Gwent. As expected, you can take part in casual battles with your friends, trade cards, and even show off your collection using binders and display boards.

Pokémon TCG Pocket is coming to Android and iOS devices on October 30, 2024.

As far as we can see, there aren’t bonuses for pre-registering, but players will be notified if they can try out the title early, as is the case with other upcoming mobile releases. We don’t expect this to be released on other platforms like the Nintendo Switch, even though it’s a great idea for other handheld devices as well. Pokémon TCG Pocket will be available in 89 countries and supports over 14 different languages.
