Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is only a few days from launch, and it’s a follow-up to Kojima Productions’ ambitious title centered around traversal, delivery, and isolation. Death Stranding 2 is a direct sequel and has a big focus on its story and characters, just like the first one.
If you don’t want anything spoiled for you, or just can’t wait for its full release, then you can play Death Stranding 2: On the Beach a bit early, and here is how.
Play Death Stranding 2 Two Days Early
If you want to play Death Stranding 2 two days before its official release, you need to purchase the Digital Deluxe or Collector’s Edition. Both editions give you 48 hours of early access.

At a minimum, you are paying an additional $10 with the Digital Deluxe Edition to enjoy early access to Death Stranding 2. If you’re a massive fan of the first, I don’t think the additional $10 is that bad of a deal, especially when you’re getting a bunch of goodies with it.

I’m not a fan of this new early access practice because, essentially, it’s the actual release date and feeds on the FOMO of fans. Death Stranding 2, in particular, is a story-heavy title, and being spoiled early on isn’t ideal.
