How To Pick Up More Trash in Schedule 1 and Sell It

Become the trash man!

Selling drugs isn’t the only way to make money in Schedule 1, and you need all the cash you can get early on. Hyland Point is a filthy place, and the residents don’t understand how trash cans work. Thankfully, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure — and money.

You can pick up pieces of trash, but there is a faster and better way to accumulate a lot of it. Here is how you can pick up more trash, sell it around town, and make a decent amount of money by just walking around in Schedule 1.

Pick More Trash in Schedule 1

To pick up a lot of trash at the same time, you need to purchase a special item called the Trash Grabber. This handy tool lets you store trash in a bucket so you can deposit it all at the same time and make a lot of money in return.

  • To purchase it, head over to Dan’s Hardware store. It’s right next to the Pizza joint.
  • Dan only takes credit, and the Trash Grabber costs $20. This isn’t much at all, and you can even collect that much by selling individual pieces of trash.
  • Once equipped, approach any piece of trash, whether it’s an empty pack of cigarettes, cans, or broken bottles, and simply pick it up.
  • You can see the capacity of your portable trash bucket fill up in the quick item menu.
  • Once it’s full, approach any Cash for Trash deposit machines and dump in your trash after opening the lid. These are found all over the town and are free to use.
  • Be careful with the position as it can spill to the other side.
  • Once the machine has processed the trash, it’ll spit out some cash. Make sure to collect it by pressing “E” as it isn’t automatically added to your inventory.

That’s all you have to do, and while this won’t make you a millionaire, beggars can’t be choosers. Not only are you making up for your illegal activities by keeping the city clean, but you’re also making cash as you do so. Picking up loads of trash is a simple and completely legal way to make cash in Schedule 1, and you only need to invest $20.
