Worship is one of those games where playing it with a friend drastically makes it more fun. If you are playing a multiplayer playthrough, you’ll notice you all worship the same cult.
Each player will have their own set of followers, but followers are limited, so everyone has to share. Luckily, you can pass followers to your friends, and here’s a quick guide on how to do it.
How to Give Followers to Other Players in Worship

To pass followers to someone else, aim at the player and click the right mouse button. Each click will assign one follower to the player. If you hold the right mouse button, you can give your whole following to another player.
However, before giving any followers, you must have followers to give. Check the lower-left corner to find two counters: Owned and Cult. The owned number is for the followers currently following you, and the cult number is for all the followers in the whole cult.
Even if you have followers actively following you, if they are on standby, you need to press “R” to recall them back to follow you, or you won’t be able to pass them to your friend.
When you give your followers to another player, they can also give them back. There should be a colored shadow below the follower corresponding to the player it is following.
There are no costs to giving other players followers, so you can freely do this as much as you want. It gets a bit chaotic when you play with four players, but it is always best to have an equal number of followers among players, so they are easier to manage when multitasking two or more commands.
It is also worth mentioning that the world is procedurally generated and shared among all the players. If one player finds a few followers, there would be fewer followers for other players to find around the map. Share those followers!
If you need a few more friends to entice and play the game, you can give them our early preview of the game and see if they might get tempted to join.
