The boss fight has several mechanics, and missing one or two of them can lead to instant failure. Here’s a comprehensive Ulmira and Eleanor boss guide in Worship, complete with fight strategies and all the boss attacks.

How to Defeat Ulmira and Eleanor in Worship – Boss Guide

Ulmira and Eleanor have several fight mechanics and attacks to know. The two biggest are the alternating phases that occur throughout the entire fight. First, when Ulmira isn’t in the arena, you are free to attack Eleanor while dodging his attacks.

However, when Ulmira joins the battle, she’ll stay on one of the four corners of the stage and make Eleanor immune to damage (when the HP bar turns black on top). In this phase, you’ll have to target Ulmira to do damage. Since they share the same HP, it’ll be the same.

Secondly, you’ll notice Eleanor protects Ulmira and jumps to the center. In this phase, they are immune to damage, and you’ll see a couple of Shield icons on their HP bar. Ulmira summons some puppets that go in a linear direction, and when you get hit, you’ll take massive damage, so make sure to have blood ready on the floor to absorb.

The fight should rotate around these two phases, all while you are trying to avoid all of Eleanor’s attacks and do damage to them.

Ulmira’s and Eleanor’s Attack Moves

Ulmira basically has one attack where she summons a puppet to move in a linear direction. When hit by the puppet, you’ll take massive damage, making it crucial to always dodge it. During the last phase, Ulmira suddenly spawns several puppets instead, possibly an enrage timer or the last mechanic of the fight, since they are almost dead.

Eleanor’s Single Projectile Wave Attack

One of Eleanor’s three most common attacks is a regular projectile that launches in one direction. To maximize your damage, send as many followers to attack Eleanor without holding the right mouse button. If you hold the right mouse button, it sends your whole cult to attack Eleanor, but when you stop pressing the button, they’ll stop, and we don’t want that.

So, you want to attack with as many followers as possible without using the mass command button. When Eleanor is about to attack, hold “R” to recall some of the followers, but only the ones in the projectile’s range.

If you want to be safe, you can just hold on to all of your followers and dodge the attack while trying to sneak a few range attacks with your zealot.

Eleanor’s Swipe

Eleanor does a massive swipe that’s more than 180 degrees, as seen in the image above. Go to the opposite side and try to sneak in some damage using the same strategy early.

Eleanor’s Roar

Eleanor sometimes unleashes a massive roar, knocking back and stunning everyone near Eleanor for a few seconds. After the roar, Eleanor does a random attack, mostly the six-sided projectile attack, making it extremely hard to save all the followers when they get stunned. You still have about two seconds to dodge the attack when recovering from the stun, but it is best to just avoid getting stunned in the first place.

Eleanor does the massive roar when he jumps to the center after protecting Ulmira.

Eleanor’s Six-Sided Projectile Attack

This is an empowered version of the first attack, launching six projectile attacks instead of one. Use the left or right side areas to dodge the attack, as those areas will have more empty space due to the stage’s layout. Don’t try to chip in some damage apart from your ranged attacks or spells.

Ulmira and Eleanor Boss Fight Strategy

Ulmira and Eleanor become a simple fight once you know all the attacks. Since you can play it safe for the most part, it’s all about conserving your cult and losing as few followers as possible.

While I went into the fight with more than 50+ followers, it isn’t a big deal since I wasn’t able to utilize every follower to attack Eleanor anyway. If you are going into the fight with fewer than 20 or 30 followers, the fight should still be doable.

As for the biggest tip for the fight, you should always keep blood on the floor for emergencies. Press “F” to grab one of your followers and stab them to get some blood out on the floor. It doesn’t make sense to use your blood because you need your health. If you get hit by any attacks or the puppet, it’ll be easy to heal since the blood is already there on the floor.

If you’re playing in co-op, you have a lot more strategies available. You can pass almost all the followers to one player and have the other provide support and do damage with ranged attacks. You can also have an equal number of followers and have each player cover a part of the stage. When Eleanor attacks a specific area on the map, the player on the opposite side can attack.
