The ability to mod your vehicle is one of the most recent new features in the ever-popular Fortnite. Having the right set of tires on can, for example, give you an advantage in chasing your opponents in some off-road sections of the map.
The most recent weekly challenge showcases this new feature. One of the latest quests that became available required players to drive a modified vehicle for 500 meters.
So, How Do You Mod a Vehicle in Fortnite?
- First, you need to find yourself a vehicle.
- Drive it to the Catty Corner Garage.
- Enter the Garage.
- Find Chonkers tires.
- Interact with the tires to pick them up.
- Throw the Chonkers tires at your car.
Just throwing the tires at your vehicle will automatically initiate the modding process. Once your new tires are on, you need to drive the vehicle for at least 500 meters to successfully complete the challenge.
Having The Chonkers tires on your vehicle will give you improved off-road abilities, such as better grip and overall better control.
Changing the tires is the only modification you can do to vehicles in Fortnite, at least for now. We’ll have to wait and see if Epic Games will add more modifications for the vehicles in the game down the road.
