Leveling fast in ARC Raiders is not about farming kills nonstop. It’s about stacking XP from every possible source in one raid, extracting alive, and repeating. Your level is your power, because every level is one skill point for Conditioning, Mobility, or Survival. If you want to level up fast in ARC Raiders, you need to understand how XP is calculated and then play to the system. Here’s a quick breakdown.
ARC Raiders pays you XP for almost everything you do in a raid, and then adds it all up on the post-raid screen.

Stack Quests Before You Drop
Visit every trader in Speranza before you deploy. Grab every quest you can, as later quests can hand you 5,000 to 30,000 XP on turn-in. Your raid goal should be whatever your quests say it is. Need specific ARC kills, specific location visits, specific materials? That’s your route now.
Farm XP via Breaching and Scavenging
You get 200 XP for normal containers and 500 XP for higher-value caches, ARC carcass segments, Raider caches, airdrops, etc. You don’t even need to take the loot. Tap search, exit, move on. Clear a building, tap 10 containers, that’s 2,000 XP in under a minute. Looting bodies gives 500 XP per body, even if you never shot that Raider. If two squads wiped each other, that is free XP just lying in a hallway.
Abuse ARC Damage XP
You gain XP for damaging ARC enemies, not just killing them. High health ARC targets (Rocketeers, big drones, heavy walkers) are walking XP banks. You can do thousands of XP worth of chip damage across a fight. You also get XP from then looting their parts afterward, often 500 XP per segment.
Always Loot Raider Bodies
Every Raider or ARC corpse is basically a 500 XP button. Even if you don’t kill them yourself, every body searched gives you XP. If you clear a fight or stumble into someone else’s aftermath, use it to farm XP.
Stay Alive For That Safe Return Bonus
Extraction is not just “leave with loot.” Extraction is an XP multiplier. On top of the ~181 XP per minute you earn just by staying alive, you get 1,000 to 2,000 XP at the end for extracting. You lose that if you die. Greed kills your leveling speed.
Route With Intent
When you spawn, open your map. Where are you? Which extract is closest, and when does it lock? Which quest objectives are between you and that exit? Don’t greed for loot and plan your evac as small consistent 5,000 to 10,000 XP raids beat gambling for 15,000 XP and getting deleted.
Choose the Best Scavenging XP Skills
Your skill tree can literally make you level faster.
- Proficient Pryer (Conditioning): Faster breaches on doors and containers mean more containers looted per minute, giving you more 200–500 XP ticks.
- Looter’s Instinct (Survival): Speeds up loot reveals so you spend less time bent over a crate and more time hitting more crates.
Mistakes That Slow Your Level Gain
- Greeding instead of extracting will lose you XP and get you killed.
- Ignoring containers in a looted area. Searching Containers always gets you XP, so it’s worth the time.
- Don’t punch above your weight against tougher mobs unless you’ve planned it out, as it will just attract other raiders and get you killed.
- Wandering without a plan reduces your XP efficiency. Focus on scavenger XP and extraction.
- Being too focused on PvP, while fun, will simply get you killed in many runs.
