To leave the Hall of Virtue in Final Fantasy XVI, you only need to hit the touchpad to open up the menu where you can adjust the options you want in the training mode, and then hold the triangle button to exit.

Since the game forces you into that section to continue the main plot, we wanted to make sure you weren’t stuck in training hell for the foreseeable future, but before you dip out of there with this newfound knowledge, be sure to mess around in there. Seriously, we recommend taking some time as you unlock new powers to really hone your craft. Each Eikon has its own unique set of abilities that feed into one another, and it’s incredibly useful to test them out against a wide variety of enemies.
