How to Get Out of the Doctor’s Office in The Day Before

As you awaken in Woodbury, you’ll encounter Dr. Leonard, the kindly old doctor who helped save your life. And once you awaken, you’re given your hardest task yet: leaving the doctor’s office.

Unfortunately, despite how simple this may seem on the surface, it’s no simple task. Here’s how to do it.

To leave the doctor’s office in The Day Before, approach the door. You’ll get a prompt that says ‘F’. You’ll need to hold ‘F’ to leave the office. However, you may find that holding ‘F’ doesn’t work. What you’ll need to do is repeatedly approach the door while holding ‘F’.

Just keep trying until the door opens. It may take a while, but keep at it, and eventually, it will work. For whatever reason, this door, in particular, is problematic. I haven’t run into an issue with any other doors in the game, nor other interactable objects that require you to hold ‘F.’

It’s just this door.

When you leave Dr. Leonard’s office, you’ll be able to explore the whole of Woodbury. There are quite a few vendors you’ll have to meet. And eventually, you’ll need to return to Dr. Leonard again, though he’ll move to a new location, to the left of the Storage vendor. Once he’s in his new location, you can ask him questions and buy a variety of medical equipment from him. This will be useful because there are quite a few things that want to kill you in Fortune City.

You won’t even be able to access the room you spawned in ever again. Perhaps that’s the reason why so many players are struggling with it, or perhaps it’s because of server lag. Who knows!
