Dr Gwen Hunter is one of the main characters Max can interact with throughout Life is Strange: Double Exposure. She’s available to meet from Chapter Two and will ask for a favor on the first player interaction. Here is how you can help Gwen retrieve the book from a locked cabinet in Life Is Strange: Double Exposure.

Help Gwen Find Her Book in Life is Strange Double Exposure

During Chapter Two, Max will run into Gwen Hunter, who can’t get a book out of a locked display cabinet in the library. To unlock the cabinet, players need to retrieve an item from nearby.

  • There are plenty of objects players can interact with in the library, such as a pen and a pair of scissors, but what you need is a spoon.
  • Head back to the waiting area of Dr Yasmin’s office where you first meet Vinh
    • You can also take on his request, and retrieve the parcel for him while you’re at it
  • Locate the coffee machine next to Dr. Yasmin’s office door, and grab the spoon
  • After obtaining the spoon, head back to the cabinet, and open it

That’s all you need to do to help out Gwen and retrieve the book from the cabinet. Gwen will thank you, and you can have another important encounter with her soon after this section.

The book has some narrative importance that players can learn more about as they interact with Gwen Hunter and find clues in the Mail Room, which is near Gwen’s office.

You can find a dropped letter in the Mail Room which further elaborates why Gwen urgently wanted the book in the first place.

That’s not all to do in the first two chapters released so far, but make sure to collect all the photos in Chapter One and Chapter Two of Life is Strange: Double Exposure.
