The Fool’s Emerald seeds can be found on the Side Terrace, which is the manor’s porch within the Formal Garden. The seed bag is next to the chalkboard alongside two of the clues for the plant.

There are six clues to fill out the entry for Fool’s Emerald:

  • Military Codes – Gardening Workspace
  • News Article – Gardening Workspace
  • Note About Telegraph – Gardening Workspace
  • Bioluminescence – Side Terrace
  • Plant Chemicals -Side Terrace
  • Morse Code – Telegraph

The clues tell us that the Fool’s Emerald responds to Morse Code in a dark setting. We will have to set up a few things before growing the plant.

You will need the Telegraph, a machine that can produce Morse Code, that is found underneath the Boat House. The Boat House key is in a small bowl underneath a Bird Poster in the Bird Garden.

You will also need a small handle that is to the right of the Boat House entrance, next to a push mower. Grab that and bring it to the pedestal in front of the dried-out pond. Inserting it will cause the pond to fill up with water and lily pads that are safe to walk over into a cave.

Bring a prepared Fool’s Emerald pot and Telegraph into the small cave. You will need to produce the Morse Code for the letters KA, which means Attention, by tapping dash, dot, dash, dot, dash. This will cause the Fool’s Emerald plant to grow into a full flower and completely light up the cave.
