Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl have a feature called The Great Underground. This is a souped-up version of the Underground feature from the original Diamond and Pearl games on the Nintendo DS. Basically it’s a way to get different kinds of Pokémon and items. To access The Great Underground, you have to use the Explorer’s Kit item, which you get once the story takes you to Eterna City.
How to Get to Sunlit Cavern in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
Sunlit Cavern is actually multiple locations; The Great Underground is made of Zones, which have smaller chunks of “rooms” with varying terrain types. All of these locations are found in the Southwestern Zone. There are three different areas above ground you can dive into for Sunlit Cavern rooms. Those are Twinleaf Town, Jubilife City and Canalave City. You’ll be able to find the following Pokémon in these rooms (BD or SP notes indicate version exclusivity):
