How to Get the Supercluster Shotgun in Destiny 2
When you think of shotguns, you think of PvP. But the Supercluster Shotgun functions best when you’re surrounded by rank-and-file enemies who are simply begging for a bit of lead in the face.
And getting the Supercluster Shotgun in Destiny 2 is exceptionally easy. You can get the Supercluster Shotgun by:
- Decrypting Wish Engrams.
- Focusing Wish Engrams at Riven in the H.E.L.M.
- Opening hidden chests in The Coil.
- Completing seasonal activities (including Season of the Wish missions, The Coil, and Riven’s Lair).
A surprisingly fast way to get Wish Engrams is by collecting resources and opening chests in the Dreaming City. Each chest and Bayan Bough has a chance to drop a Wish Engram and Lair Key.
Collect four Wish Engrams and 3,000 Glimmer to focus the weapon at Riven in the H.E.L.M.
Alternatively, if you do at least three loops in The Coil, you’ll have the opportunity to open multiple hidden chests, which will drop Wish Engrams and a Season of the Wish weapon. This is another great way to farm all Season of the Wish weapons.
God Roll for Supercluster Shotgun in Destiny 2
Supercluster is a Strand, Pinpoint Slug Frame shotgun that does best against orange and miniboss enemies in PvE. To that end, here’s the roll that you should aspire for:
- Barrel → Arrowhead Brake. Recoil +30, Handling +10.
- Magazine → Tactical Mag. Reload +10, Stability +5, Magazine +1.
- Perk 1 → Reconstruction. Refills 10 percent of the magazine capacity from reserves every four seconds while not firing the weapon.
- Perk 2 → Cascade Point. After scoring a kill or multiple Precision Hits within 5 seconds of each with a different weapon, grants the ‘Cascade Point Ready’ buff for 5 seconds. Readying the weapon while buff is active reduces Firing Delay for 2.5 seconds.
- Masterwork → Range. +10 Range.
- Mod → Major or Boss Spec.
You can also opt to replace Cascade Point with Surrounded, which will give you a 40% increased damage boost when you’re surrounded by three enemies who are within eight meters of you.
