As you make your way through the horrific world of Alan Wake 2, you’ll need many tools to get the job done. Here’s how to get the Screwdriver in Alan Wake 2.
Where to Find the Screwdriver in Alan Wake 2
The Screwdriver can be found in the chapter Return 3: Lost Girl of Alan Wake 2. As you reach Coffee World, you’ll want to make your way over to the Percolator amusement park ride. It’s Alan Wake 2’s version of a tilt-a-whirl if you’re having trouble finding it. Make your way over, and be ready for a fight once you get to the ride. There will be an enemy within the central cup, along with an enemy circling the outer ring of the ride. I’d suggest taking the outer enemy out first since they’ll present more of a challenge than the central foe.
Once they’re both dead, go to the fuse box for the ride (also located in the outer circle), where you’ll find the Screwdriver. Pick it up, and you’ll be safe to progress further.
How is the Screwdriver Useful?
The Screwdriver is used in numerous sections across Alan Wake 2. Most notably, it’s used during the certain quest to find the Clicker. The Gift Shop is blocked off by a padlock, which the Screwdriver can be used to break. Other than the main objective things, a trailer within the initial village of Watery needs to be opened with the Screwdriver. Within is a nursery rhyme, which unlocks a charm for you. This won’t be the first or last time you use the Screwdriver. You can’t jam it into Taken skulls, though, unfortunately.
