The Ring of the Midnight Sun is an exclusive unique ring to the Spiritborn class in Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred. It is one of the key unique items for activating several builds because it solves resource or Vigor issues for high-resource cost builds. Since most, if not all, builds use resources, the Ring of the Midnight Sun sees heavy use in all builds. Here’s how you can target-farm the Ring of the Midnight Sun in Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred.
How to Target-Farm the Ring of the Midnight Sun in Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred
The Ring of the Midnight Sun is one of the main drops from the Tormented Grigoire boss in the Halls of the Penitent. You need 12x Living Steel to summon Tormented Grigoire. Depending on your current torment difficulty, the number of unique item drops will change. Torment 4 will give the highest number of unique item drops (around six unique items). However, the drop table will remain the same on all Torment difficulties.
There are other unique items that drop, so it might take a few fights before you can get one Ring of the Midnight Sun to drop. You should average to get one for every two fights, but sometimes, you can get unlucky.
If you don’t have the materials, Living Steel, you can also get the Ring of the Midnight Sun in any content as long as it drops uniques. One of the most popular ones is going for the Pit, as it gives the best experience points per minute as well as some consistent, unique items. Infernal Hordes do give more uniques, but use a different loot table in Season of Hatred, which means you should avoid them if you want to farm for the Ring of the Midnight Sun specifically.
Ring of the Midnight Sun Stats in Diablo 4
The Ring of the Midnight Sun has the following stats or attributes:
- +[107 – 121] Dexterity

- +[40.0 – 50.0]% Critical Strike Damage
- +[2 – 3] to Mirage
