How to Get the Overwatch Contenders Lucio Skin in Overwatch 2
It’s Spring, and you know what that means, competitive Overwatch lovers. Overwatch Contenders is back! And just like before, you can get some rewards for tuning in and cheering on your favorites.
Chief among the potential rewards for spectators is the Lucio Overwatch Contenders skin. Fans who tuned in during November 2020 might be wondering if it’s the same skin, but never fear. 2023 Lucio’s skin is updated, and it can be yours for the low, low price of eight hours stream watching.
Here’s how to get involved.
From April 12 to May 10, 4:00 AM EDT, head over to Twitch and view any participating live channel. To find a participating live channel, search “Path to Pro Spring Season” or “Overwatch Contenders”. You’ll likely see “!drops” in the name of participating channels.

To get the Lucio cosmetic, you’ll need to first connect your Twitch account to your Blizzard account. Otherwise, you won’t be able to claim any drops. Once that’s done, you’ll need to watch for eight hours across all participating streams to get the Contenders Lucio reward.
Once you’ve watched eight hours, go to the Drops Inventory menu in Twitch to claim your cosmetic. And it’s as easy as that! Free skins don’t come often, and Lucio looks fantastically froggy in the Contenders skin.
