How to Get the Light Screen TM in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

The Light Screen TM can be found in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet just south of Levincia City. This is the city where you face streamer and Electric-type gym leader Iono. Just south of the city, on a cliff overlooking the skyline, you’ll find the Light Screen TM just sitting on the cliff’s edge.

Once you’ve picked up the TM, it will be added to your crafting log. You can then craft more of these TMs if you need them. The recipe is as follows,

  • 800 League Points
  • 3 Magnemite Screws
  • 3 Voltorb Sparks

The official description of Light Screen in the game is: A wondrous wall of light is put up to reduce damage from special moves for five turns.

It has a PP of 30, and this wall will reduce incoming special attacks by 30%. This is huge for surviving massive, powerful attacks like Hyper Beam.
