The Jadeite Orb can be purchased at Ibrahim’s Scrap Store in the Checkpoint Rest Town for 8,500 Gold. This is the easiest way to get the orb without having to do some extra searching down the line, but coming from the Scrap Store, the item itself can be more risky. With that said, this Jadeite Orb can easily be used to complete some quests, such as the one given to your party by the merchants within the Checkpoint Rest Town.

Once you have the Jadeite Orb, you can head back to the Scrap Store and ask Ibrahim to make a forgery. Forgeries are always cheaper knockoff versions of real items without any of the true value, but that doesn’t have to stop you from using them as quest items. For just 2,000 Gold, you can get the forgery started and you’ll soon have a second version after leaving the orb at the Scrap Store. This can be used to trick the merchants in the Rest Town.

The Jadeite Orb itself is a rare item that will have multiple characters searching for it in Dragon’s Dogma 2. You want to hold onto the real deal until you feel that you have the best reward headed your way. Until then, I recommend attempting to trick any of those greedy merchants and thieves that have no bearing on your party of Pawns. After all, this is the Arisen’s world.

Speaking of merchants, I also wouldn’t trust them to get your own version of the Formal Raiment.
