How to Get the Inspect Link for Items in CS:GO

Inspection, inspection...

Before you decide to make a purchase of a specific skin in CS:GO (or offer it to someone for sale) you should do your best to get an inspect link so that the inspection of the skin can be done thoroughly before the transaction takes place. Getting an Inspect link for an item in CS:GO is not a difficult process and here is a guide on how to get it quickly, here at Prima Games.

When it comes to obtaining an inspect link for an item, you should log in to Steam Community from your Web Browser. Then, walk into your own Inventory (or the Inventory of someone else if you wish). Once you manage to find an item that you want to get an inspect link for, you will see the “Inspect In Game” gray button on the right side, next to all of the text you see.

Point your mouse cursor at that button and right-click it with your mouse, and then click the “Copy Page URL” option from the drop-down menu. Now, the Inspect Link is in your clipboard, and you can paste it whenever you want.

It is the same with almost any CS:GO skin trade website, you can grab a link for any skin that is being offered, you just need to locate the “In Game” link next to it (different sites put it on different locations).

Then, to inspect the skin in-game, you just need to paste that link in the browser, approve the request of the browser to open CS:GO for you if it is not already open, and then you will quickly be moved into the inspection menu.
