The Callisto Protocol, one of the most highly anticipated horror games of the year, has been released. The marketing campaign for this game has been aggressive for the past few months, and the marketing team hasn’t let off the steam yet.
With The Callisto Protocol’s late-night release on December 2, there’s the opportunity to also claim an exclusive item for the playable character Jacob. This skin, appropriately titled “Gore” is plastered with viscera. But if that’s your bag (and it likely is if you’re playing The Callisto Protocol), there’s only one way to claim it.
How to Get the Gore Skin in The Callisto Protocol
From December 2 to December 5, head over to Twitch’s Drop Campaign. You’ll need to watch a participating Twitch Streamer play The Callisto Protocol live for thirty minutes. But before you even click on a stream, it’s integral that you link the platform you’re going to play The Callisto Protocol on with your Twitch account.
Here’s how to make sure you’re set up. First, head over to Twitch Drop and Rewards, then click “All Campaigns.” Scroll down to Th Callisto Protocol and click it. There will be a sub-heading called Connection. Press the purple button prompting you to connect.

You’ll be redirected to Krafton ID, which is tedious, but stick with it. Scroll past the login prompt, and you’ll see nine platforms you can connect with. Select the one you’ll be playing The Callisto Protocol on.
Once you’ve completed the registration process, your Twitch account will be linked with your Krafton / The Callisto Protocol account. From there, return to the Twitch Campaigns and click on the link that prompts you to go to a “participating live channel.” No matter the hour you click, it’s likely that a streamer will be streaming.
One of the best ways to identify if someone is participating in this campaign is if they have !Drops in their stream’s title. If they do, you don’t have to ask if they’re participating. They are. Then just settle down and watch the stream for 30 minutes. Or alternatively, go AFK and actually play the game yourself, then check your Twitch Drop and Reward Inventory to see if the Gore Skin has arrived yet.
Happy skin collecting!
