How to Get the Closer Glyph in Diablo 4

Enhance your Cutthroat skills.

Glyphs are one of the best ways to get some passive power spikes on the Paragon Board in Diablo 4, and for Rogues that like to get up close and personal, the Closer Glyph is a perfect socket addition. To help you make the most of your Cutthroat skills, I’ll go over how to get the Glyph and what the effects are. Here’s how to get the Closer Glyph in Diablo 4.

Where to Get the Closer Glyph in Diablo 4

You can get the Closer Glyph by completing Nightmare Dungeons and participating in Helltide events at World Tier 3 or higher. Unlike Unique items, rare glyphs don’t typically drop from taking down mobs around Sanctuary or opening chests. Instead, they drop as rewards for completing tougher content in Diablo 4.

While Nightmare Dungeons and Helltide Chests tend to have some fantastic chances at dropping Glyphs, the Tree of Whispers is another option. Grim Favors for the Tree of Whispers are much easier and it’s where I got the Closer Glyph in Diablo 4. Until you get all the glyphs for your class, the reward caches tend to drop some extra buffs.

Diablo 4 Closer Glyph Effect

The Closer Glyph is based on enhancing the damage of Cutthroat Skills. For every 5 Dexterity purchased within range of the socket, the percentage of damage on your cutthroat skills will be increased. With the full +40 Dexterity bonus on my build, and with an upgraded Glyph, I get a +27.5% damage boost on my Rogue.

With the +40 Dexterity in range, there is also a second bonus. While Wielding a melee weapon, you take 10% reduced damage. This is a great boost for any melee-based Rogue within Diablo 4, especially as you take on tougher enemies in World Tier 4.
