The Bow is one of the handiest weapons you can get in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. Once you’ve got your hands on the Bow of Might, you will wonder how you ever lived without it. Echoes of Wisdom has a certain amount of freedom, allowing you to take a few different paths in the order you’d prefer. We suggest, however, getting your hands on the Bow of Might as soon as possible.
Where to Find the Bow in Legend of Zelda Echoes of Wisdom
The Bow of Might will be your reward for defeating Bow Link in the Gerudo Sanctum dungeon. Luckily for you, we have an entire guide on how to make your way through the dungeon, so if you’re struggling to find Link and get your hands on that Bow, follow our instructions to make your way there.
You will encounter Link somewhere around the mid-point in the dungeon. And once you do, you will have to be prepared. Just before you bump into Link, you will find yourself in a room full of Cat Statues and Gibdo’s. Defeat the enemies, learn the Cat Statue Echo, and use a Trampoline to bounce your way over the green boxes blocking your way to the door.
There, you will have a moment to breathe in a small corridor. Take this opportunity to replenish any Hearts the Gibdos may have taken from you before heading in to face Link.
How to Defeat Bow Link in Echoes of Wisdom
The first part of the fight against Bow Link is relatively simple despite the fact that Link has a long-range weapon and you don’t. Thankfully, some of your Echoes do. You can use any fighting Echo you’d prefer, but some are definitely better than others in this fight.
You could opt for flying Echoes. They are usually rather light in terms of Tri-Power, so you can summon a couple at once, allowing one to distract while the other attacks. Alternatively, you can also use Piranha Echoes. These are probably the best option, as they can easily traverse the sandy arena and are invulnerable while they are submerged.
Don’t forget to activate Sword Fighter Form to give your Echoes a hand here. You can use the Shield to deflect any arrows Link sends your way. If you run out of Sword Form fighting power, you can also spin to deflect the arrows. Once phase two hits, this fight gets significantly harder.
As if one Link wasn’t hard enough to deal with already, he splits himself into three. Although there are three different Links to deal with now, they still have the same moves and attack patterns, so keep fighting him the same way you were before.
You will have to get a bit more hands-on with Sword Fighter Form here and keep your eyes open at all times to keep track of all three Links. But eventually, you and your Piranhas will take Link down so you can collect the Bow of Might.
How to Use the Bow of Might in Echoes of Wisdom
The Bow of Might is one of Link’s weapons, so you can only use it while in Sword Fighter Form. Press up on the D-Pad to enter Sword Fighter Form, and press X to bring out the Bow of Might. You can press X quickly to shoot one arrow or hold down X to power up your move and release three arrows at once.
The powered-up Bow of Might shot with three arrows is perfect for clearing out plenty of enemies if you’re becoming overwhelmed.
