How to Get Tec Runes in Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred

How unlucky can you get?

Tec runes are quite a common drop in Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred. However, it is only common if you run a specific type of content. While there are several endgame pillars to run or farm, you want to go for one that drops multiple runes at a time to efficiently farm these Tec runes that you need. Here’s where you can get Tec Runes more easily in Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred.

How to Target-Farm Tec Runes in Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred

While target-farming runes are technically impossible, there are ways you can have more runes drop by farming either the Undercity or tormented bosses. For tormented bosses, each run will drop a single rune. However, getting the boss summoning materials makes it a lot harder for a consistent way to get runes. Joining rota farming boss groups will ensure that you get at least four runes per summon since you are sharing it with three other members.

This is by far the best way to farm legendary runes like Lith while also being the best way to farm mythic unique items. Again, you’ll need some summoning materials, but you should have a lot of them stockpiled when you farm other content or get rewards from your seasonal challenges.

Apart from boss farming, the next best way is to run Undercity and use a Tribute of Harmony. Each run will take around two to three minutes to finish, giving you four Rune drops as long as you reach the maximum tier on your run. This method is the best way to farm Tec runes, as it gives you more chance to get “magic” type runes, whereas the tormented bosses give you slightly rarer runes.

If you want to farm other content while also getting a chance at getting Tec runes, you should get and use a Seething Opal of Socketables so that you have more chances to get some runes along with more gem fragments drops. A Seething Opal of Socketables gives you a buff, similar to an elixir, so you should capitalize on the duration and farm as efficiently as possible.

What Are Tec Runes Used For in Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred?

Tec runes are mostly used for crafting Tyrael’s Might, which is basically almost every build’s endgame goal. Tyrael’s Might offers so much survivability that any other chest armor piece that doesn’t have a build-defining effect will pale in comparison.

Crafting it requires two Resplendent Sparks, six Lith Runes, six Tec runes, and 6 Feo runes. These materials can get a bit expensive if you choose to buy them with a goal, and you also need to farm Resplendent Sparks from salvaging Mythic unique or finishing the seasonal challenges.

The other runes may take a billion gold to buy them all, but only because Lith runes are so expensive since they are rare and everyone wants to craft a Tyrael’s Might.
