The Surveillance Camera is one of the four Sigils that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Zombies players need to open up the Dark Aether Rift. Getting this one will require players to search for Harvester Orbs and have a specific Ammo Mod.

How to Get Epic Surveillance Camera in MW3 Zombies

Zombies players can get the Epic rarity Surveillance Camera by destroying a Harvester Orb with a weapon that has the Dead Wire Ammo Mod equipped to it. Dead Wire Ammo Mods can be found in random caches, as rewards for completing Contracts, or crafting before entering the game.

There are several Harvester Orbs, big purple balls that fly around, that spawn across the map. Their placement can be somewhat random, so players should grab a vehicle and search around.

Shooting the Harvester Orb with the Dead Wire infused weapon will change its color to gold. Keep shooting at it until it is destroyed, and players will receive the Epic rarity Surveillance Camera. This is not the correct Sigil to open up the Dark Aether Rift, and players will need to upgrade it with a different method.

How to Get Gold Surveillance Camera in MW3 Zombies

The gold, or ultra rarity, Surveillance Camera is the Sigil players need to unlock the Dark Aether Rift. It can be earned by entering an Aether Tear, flying into the yellow light, and then completing the purple Bounty Contract.

First, players will need the purple Surveillance Camera already in their inventory. Then players will need to search around the map for Aether Tears, which are purple portals of light on the ground.

Enter the Aether Tear to appear high in the air, and parachute into a yellow light floating in mid-air. This will spawn a purple Tier 2 Bounty Contract. Destroy the special boss from the contract to receive the gold Surveillance Camera in the reward rift.
