Don't get too reckless when you bombard people.

Imagine for a moment as you tackle yet another bounty out of Neon City. You land beside a POI on some backwater planet and immediately face down squads of Ecliptic mercenaries as they notice your ship on the landing pad. What’s the best option? Of course, it’s to pull out a grenade launcher and thump a few explosives down range. But you want the best. You want a unique heavy weapon. Here is where to find Reckless Bombardment in Starfield.

Where to Get Reckless Bombardment in Starfield

To get Reckless Bombardment in Starfield, you must enlist with the UC Vanguard and progress through their faction questline before ultimately purchasing this unique heavy weapon from Gualter on Mars. You’ll find him during “Hostile Intelligence.”

On top of Reckless Bombardment, Gualter is also selling Vampire’s Gift—a personal favorite unique rifle in Starfield.

Reckless Bombardment Stats and Details

There’s nothing quite as satisfying as using a grenade launcher in games. Perhaps a minigun? Either way, Reckless Bombardment is a satisfying and powerful heavy weapon that comes with five pre-installed weapon modifications, plus it has a unique boon that deals additional damage after striking a limb.

  • Weapon Type: Heavy Weapon
  • Damage Type: Physical
  • Damage: 120
  • Ammunition Type: 40MM XPL
  • Magazine Size: 8
  • Fire Rate: 12
  • Range: 40
  • Accuracy: 65.5%
  • Mass: 14.15
  • Value: 80136
  • Mod Slot 1: Stabilizing Barrel
  • Mod Slot 2: Recon Laser Sight
  • Mod Slot 3: Reflex Sight
  • Mod Slot 4: Tactical Stock
  • Mod Slot 5: Hornet Nest
  • Rare Effect: Crippling – Deal an additional =30% damage on the next attack after hitting a target’s limbs.
  • Item ID: 002E0727

There are too few downsides to using this weapon. The only thing that comes to mind is the ammunition problem, which is always an issue. The 40MM XPL will cost quite a tidy sum and is relatively rare, so good luck finding enough to keep this unique heavy weapon functional.

If you want something a bit faster, I recommend Gallow’s Reach in Starfield.
