Power Cells cannot be found in the environment within LEGO Fortnite and can only be crafted at the Crafting Bench. However, the recipe can only be unlocked once players discover Biomass.

Biomass must also be crafted, so players will need to build the Compost Bin Station that was added in the new update. Once players have transformed some organic ingredients into Biomass using the machine, the Power Cell recipe will be unlocked.

The recipe to craft Power Cells can be found at the Crafting Bench. Players will need to upgrade the machine to an Uncommon Crafting Bench before the recipe will be available alongside discovering Biomass.

One Power Cell can be crafted with 50 Biomass and six Glass. Biomass is created through the Compost Bin, while Glass is made with the Metal Smelter. Glass can also be found in bandit camps found around the world.

How to Use Power Cells in LEGO Fortnite

Power Cells are used to power up vehicles in LEGO Fortnite, whether it is one of the pre-made options or a makeshift car that players have made themselves. The three available options are the personal Speedster, the Offroader SUV, and the industrial Hauler.

Power Cells do eventually run out of juice, but can be swapped out of the vehicle with a new one from the inventory. Some Power Centers require more than one Power Cell, so make sure you have enough before getting stranded somewhere.
