How to Get Hinox Guts in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK)

A giant inconvenience

Harvesting monster parts in Tears of the Kingdom is essential if you’re looking for elixir ingredients or upgrade materials for your amour, but given the scale of some of the enemies you’re bound to face these can be pretty deadly items to go out farming. Of course, some are easier to get than others and you might get lucky in finding certain parts lying around, but as for things like guts, you’ll need to dig a little deeper if you want to harvest the goods. Here’s how to get Hinox Guts in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Where to Find Hinox Guts in Tears of the Kingdom

As the name suggests, Hinox Guts can only be found by defeating Hinox, and fortunately, they are located throughout the whole of Hyrule. Out of the selection of towering beasts you’ll come up against within Tears of the Kingdom, Hinox are some of the easier to face. Given you’re aiming for the eye and using damage-dealing arrow fusions, you should be able to keep your distance without risking your own hearts to get ahold of their guts. That said, it’s important to watch out for any boulders they may pick up and throw your way since these could be fatal if you’re low on hearts already.

Similar to Bokoblins, the Hinox you come up against will either be Black, Blue, or standard red in color and just be titled ‘Hinox’ when combat is initiated. All of these are capable of dropping Hinox guts when defeated alongside a variety of monster parts, so there’s no guarantee you will get the part you’re looking for each time you defeat a Hinox, but at least you won’t be walking away empty-handed. If you’re looking to collect Hinox guts to sell, they aren’t too rich in their worth and will only shift for 80 Rupees a piece. Because of this, you’re best off waiting until you have a proper use for them which will likely be more valuable than selling them for quick cash.
