With such a massive loot pool, getting the gun you want can be a massive slog. But fortunately, there are two ways to get Explosive Personality in Destiny 2.
You can purchase Explosive Personality from Xur if Xur is selling it. And you can get Explosive Personality as a drop from the rotating Exotic Mission.
How to Get Explosive Personality from Xur in Destiny 2
To get Explosive Personality from Xur, you’ll have to wait until he sells it. Xur will appear in the world starting on Friday. He’ll remain in a set location until Tuesday. You can purchase a random assortment of Exotic or Legendary items from him during that time.
Periodically, Explosive Personality will be among those options. You can purchase it from Xur for 50 Legendary Shards and 1,000 Glimmer.
How to Get Explosive Personality from Exotic Missions in Destiny 2
To get Explosive Personality from the Exotic Mission Rotator, you’ll have to wait until a specific Exotic Mission appears on the schedule. Each Exotic mission has its own loot table, and Explosive Personality will only appear in one of them.
For season 22, Vox Obscura was the only Exotic Mission where you could get Explosive Personality. The other possible items were Piece of Mind, Recurrent Impact, Sweet Sorrow, Thoughtless, and Under Your Skin.
Exotic Missions can be accessed by selecting the Destinations tab. From there, select ‘Legends’. In this menu, select the mission with a golden engram indicating the Exotic Mission. This mission will change every week.
Usually, there are only three Exotic Missions in rotation. This means you may have to wait up to three weeks for Vox Obscura to roll back around.
