Another week, another Trials. Which means another chance to get your hands on some of the best weapons Destiny 2 has to offer. Is that not the heart and soul of the game, hoarding as many guns as possible, like a strange little space dragon? But there is one gun that you should not let slip through your gauntlets, and that is Exalted Truth. Here is how to get Exalted Truth in Destiny 2.
How to Get Exalted Truth in Destiny 2
The Trials of Osiris are the highest tier PvP activity Destiny has, and it has garnered a bit of a reputation over the years. Mostly that if you take one step into one of these 3 v 3 matchups, you should be prepared to both drown in sweat and expect to lose. Bungie has done their best to try to lure more casual players into Trials over the years, with varying degrees of success.
However, there is one reason to do it: the weapons. The Trials of Osiris offer some of the best PvP weapons available, with new weapons being added to the pool (and taken out) on a routine basis. Exalted Truth, a Void Legendary Hand Cannon with an Adaptive Frame, is one of the newest additions.
You can obtain Exalted Truth from random Engrams from Trials of Osiris, including by ranking up with Osiris himself. A second option is to use a Trials Engram for Focused Decoding at Osiris. Obtaining the Adept version of Exalted Truth is much harder. For that, you will need to get a Flawless card with seven uninterrupted wins. Once you obtain this highly coveted ticket, you can go to the Lighthouse and obtain it from the enigmatic Nine there.
Once you have it, is it any good?

It is too early to determine the perfect God Roll for Exalted Truth, but it feels good, especially in PvP. Hammer-Forged Rifling gives it a little extra range, which can be stacked with Accurized Rounds, and Killing Winds will help you keep the momentum going.
It is a gun that does best in PvP, and it is possible it might even outshine Rose, who has held the top spot since her release earlier this season.
