The critically-acclaimed MMORPG, Final Fantasy XIV, offers a plethora of goodies to collect throughout your long adventure in Eorzea. From gear, weapons, and minions to titles, music sheets, and of course lots and lots of mounts. Each expansion released offers a special mount obtainable after collecting six to seven other mounts from each of the expansion’s Extreme trials, with the colorful Lanner mounts arriving alongside the Heavensward expansion. All of the Lanner mounts can only be obtained after reaching level 60 and completing the Heavensward Main Scenario Questline. Once these conditions are met, you may accept each quest to unlock each of the following Extreme trials.
How to Get the White Lanner in FFXIV
The White Lanner is obtained as a rare drop from The Limitless Blue (Extreme) trial. This trial is unlocked by completing The Diabolical Bismarck quest.
How to Get the Rose Lanner in FFXIV
The Rose Lanner is obtained as a rare drop from Thok ast Thok (Extreme) trial. This trial is unlocked by completing the Thok Around the Clock quest.
How to Get the Round Lanner in FFXIV
The Round Lanner can be obtained from The Minstrel’s Balled: Thordan’s Reign Extreme trial. To unlock this trial, complete the Thordan’s Reign quest.
How to Get the Dark Lanner in FFXIV
The Dark Lanner is dropped from The Minstrel’s Ballad: Nidhogg’s Rage Extreme trial. To unlock this trial, you must complete the Nidhogg’s Rage quest.
How to Get the Warring Lanner in FFXIV
The Warring Lanner is a rare drop from the Containment Bay S1T7 (Extreme) trial, which is only available after completing A Fiendish Likeness.
How to Get the Sophic Lanner in FFXIV
The Sophic Lanner comes from the Containment Bay P1T6 (Extreme) trial. To unlock this trial, complete A Deific Simulacrum.
How to Get the Demonic Lanner in FFXIV
Finally, the Demonic Lanner is a rare drop from the Containment Bay Z1T9 (Extreme) trial. This trial is unlocked by completing A Demonic Duplicate.

How to Get the Firebird in FFXIV
After all your hard work, you’ll be able to accept the Fiery Wings, Fiery Hearts quest. Competing this quest awards you the Firebird Whistle, allowing you to summon the Firebird mount. Towards the Heavens you go!
