How to Get Cetitan and Cetoddle in Pokemon GO

The second part of the Winter Wishes even brought holiday rewards along with the appearance of Cetoddle and Cetitan in Pokemon GO. To make sure you get the Terra Whale Pokemon in time, I put together this easy catch and evolve guide.

Pokemon GO – How to Catch Cetoddle and Get Cetitan

You can get Cetitan by evolving a Cetoddle with a total of 50 Candies. You can earn 50 Cetoddle Candies by finding the first form of the Terra Whale out in the wild, completing event research during Winter Wishes, or participating in one-star raids for an easy chance at a catch. Each patch is viable for getting the Candies you need.

Of course, you can use Pinap Berries to increase how many Candies you earn with each catch. By default, you get three Candies per catch. so you need around 17 Cetoddle catches without any additional buffs. Considering the latest Winter Wishes event will be live until January, there is plenty of time to get those catches without any Pinaps.

For the best chance of finding Cetoddle, I recommend using an Incense Lure and walking around populated areas. Not only are the spawn rates much higher but there will also be plenty of PokeStops for even higher odds. Just keep in mind that this only works while Cetoddle is still on the list of standard spawns.

After Winter Wishes ends, you may need to wait for the next specialized event to catch a Cetoddle or to get enough Candy for a Cetitan. It’s possible that the Terra Pokemon will continue to spawn in Pokemon GO or you could use some Rare Candies to bypass the catches. It’s really all just a matter of waiting for the right event.
