Where to Find Carrots in Solarpunk

Carrots are located on the three new islands available when you reach the Airship level 3 upgrade. There’s one on the northeast, northwest, and directly south of the starting island. However, the island to the south, encircled in the image above, has a total of five Carrots, which will help you farm a lot of Carrots fast.

Since 20x Carrots are needed immediately for a trade after the Airship level 3 upgrade from the Traderbot, you’ll need to get a lot of these Carrots fast. Five Carrots are also needed to research the Pig Shelter upgrade, which is important to start getting Truffle and progress to tier 7 at the Research Table and the Airship level 4 upgrade.

That’s a lot of Carrots needed, and the Carrots from the three islands might not be enough to get you enough Carrots fast. The best way to farm more Carrots is by researching the Seedspack from the tier 6 Research Table. You’ll need one of each of these crops to finish the research.: Raspberry, Cotton, Wheat, Carrot, and Sunflower.

The Seedspack allows you to craft seeds using the produce at a 4:1 ratio. For example, if you have four Carrots, you can use that to craft one Carrot Seed. That goes for the rest of the crops going forward.

You can infinitely multiply your crops. In the next islands, you should be able to find new crops, but also find some Carrots as well as other lower-tier resources, which might not be as important at that point.
