How to Get Blood Burner Key in MW3 Zombies

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Zombies players could ride the Blood Burner motorcycle before, but can now summon it whenever thanks to the new Season 2 item. Here is how to get and craft the Blood Burner Key.

How to Get Blood Burner Key in MW3 Zombies

The Blood Burner Key item is located within the new Dark Aether Rift in the northern section of the tier 3 red zone. The teleporter is labeled on the map, but cannot be unlocked until players complete a couple of requirements beforehand.

Players must first complete the Act 4 Countermeasures mission, which is found near the new Dark Aether Rift in the tier 3 zone. Once completed, you will receive the first of four relics required to open the rift. The four relics are:

• The Drum
• Perforated Target
• Pristine Mirror
• Tattered MMA Gloves

These relics must be placed at their matching pedestals where the Dark Aether Rift will be. After this, a giant teleporter will appear from the black tornado, and an overpowered Mimic will come out. Defeat the Mimic for the rift to stay permanently unlocked.

Next, you will need a Sigil item, earned either from the previous Dark Aether Rift or from completing tier 3 missions, that can be placed on the rift to open it. You will be transported back to the Countermeasures map but must complete three missions and extract before the time limit expires. The three missions are:

• Bounty mission located in the warehouse at C5 coordinates.
• PND mission located at the top of the apartment building at E7 coordinates.
• Aether Extractors mission located on the top of the mall at I6 coordinates.

Completing these missions could reward you with the Blood Burner Key item. It is not guaranteed to drop from completing any of the missions, so keep entering the rift and trying until you receive it.

How to Craft Blood Burner Key in MW3 Zombies

The Blood Burner Key can be crafted once players earn the schematic from the Dark Aether Rift. It can be found in the harder version of the new rift.

Players who complete missions in the Dark Aether Rift can also receive an Elder Sigil item, which works the same as a regular Sigil. It is placed at the same northern rift, and it unlocks a harder version of the Dark Aether Rift. 

Players will do the same three missions as before but with more difficult enemies and a shorter time limit. The Blood Burner Key schematic is not guaranteed to drop from completing the missions and can still be random.
