Where to Get Grapple Blade in Fortnite

The Grapple Blade is a great tool for maneuverability, as well as causing some pretty significant damage quickly. You’ll find the Grapple Blade sporadically throughout the map, oftentimes as both Floor Loot and Loot Chest loot. You can also claim a Grapple Blade or two from Vaults after defeating the Society Members that are awaiting you within. If you’re hoping to feel like Spider-Man mixed with a Ninja, this is the perfect weapon for you. You can also purchase them from NPC characters for 400 Gold Bars.

It’s a great item to have, especially since it works great for offense with high damage capabilities, alongside unparalleled maneuverability options. You can use this particular weapon to get onto hard-to-reach spots, as well as make your way up buildings vertically. You’ll feel just like a Shinobi once you finally get your first Kill with this particular weapon, so find one early and hold onto it until the end if you find it.

Is the Grapple Blade Worth it in Fortnite?

There are various modes available in Fortnite, but the two primary options are Build and No-Build, which the Grapple Blade excels equally. If you’re playing in Build mode, you’ll have the chance to make it up a building that your opponent is cobbling together quickly, so you can hopefully eliminate them before they can build a replica of the Empire State Building in a matter of seconds.

In No-Build mode, however, it’s even more worth the time it takes to track one down. Since you can’t build your way out of a battle, using the Grapple Blade to create distance could be the thing you need if you’re hoping to make it out of a battle alive. Just aim it at a building, and get flung toward it, and you should be able to escape with your life. Ensure you’ve got some health items, and you’ll be ready for anything again.

Does the Grapple Blade Deal Much Damage?

We all know that the Grapple Blade offers a great amount of maneuverability, but is it going to be good in battle? You know the old saying, “Don’t bring a knife to a gunfight,” but if that knife is attached to something that lets you move around the map like Spider-Man, it may be a good way to bury that old adage.

The Grapple Blade deals a significant amount of damage, and if you’re lucky enough to get it in the early game, you can eliminate your foes in seconds. However, later in the match, it may not prove as useful, so judge the situation that you’re in, use your best judgment, and you should be more than fine.
