The Battle For Brooklyn expansion is necessary to acquire all eight Hunter masks, as none of them from the DLC are located in the Washington D.C. and New York areas. All can be found in the Brooklyn area.

Finding and eliminating all eight Hunters will reward you with eight Ash Keys that can be used to open the locked container at the Bridge settlement in Brooklyn. You will get the Huntsman assault rifle and Hunter of Hunters universal weapon skin. Here is how to find all eight Hunters:

Cipher

East of the Fulton Ferry market control point on Water St., you’ll find a tall building with letters written on the air conditioning units along the side of the building. Using any gun to shoot the letters, spell out the word ROBOTO to make the first Hunter appear. Be sure to shoot each letter with a single bullet only, and you can repeatedly use the O, as there is only one O on the building.

Lumen

There is an alleyway near the Fulton Ferry market control point that is very unassuming until the in-game time is after 21:00. You can check the time in the pause menu. After 21:00, a garage door in the alleyway can be opened.

Hit the switch inside to turn on a blacklight with painted arrows pointing you outside. Follow the trail of multiple blacklight sources throughout the city to wind up on the east side of DUMBO. The Hunter will spawn at the last location and drop the Lumen mask when defeated.

Merry

The Merry mask can be earned by collecting seven parts of a carousel horse throughout the city. There are six parts in Brooklyn Heights and one in DUMBO. Save the DUMBO part for last as the next objective is nearby. Here are the seven part locations:

  • Leaves pile at the corner of Henry St. and Pineapple St.
  • Next to the shed in Henry St. courtyard near the first part.
  • Next to the disabled green truck on the corner of Henry St. and Poplar St.
  • Next to the gate between a lootable dresser and a car with plants growing from it on Cranberry St.
  • Orange St. courtyard between Willow St. and Hicks St.
  • Corner of Clark St. and Columbia Heights, behind the overturned car and a small fence
  • On concrete blocks next to trucks in northwestern DUMBO

Opposite the concrete blocks is a glass building with a carousel and a horse on the table outside. Interact with the horse to apply all of the parts and spawn the Merry Hunter.

Redtail

The Redtail mask is rewarded after disabling nine antennas throughout the city. Make sure to have control points captured before this process to fast travel easily. Each antenna is physically in the world and can be disabled by following the blue wire from it to a switchbox. Here are the nine locations:

  • Inside garage entrance on Mc Kenny St.
  • On the rooftop of a building on Water St., take the stairs on the side street where the underground entrance is. Make sure to destroy the yellow control box behind the two giant square vents before climbing the fenced area to open the final gate.
  • Go up the ramp of the parking area on York St. outside the Bridge settlement, go through the path of destroyed vehicles and rubble to a dead end with a switch in the corner.
  • Shoot the yellow box in the alleyway on Water St., then enter Donut Shack around the block on Plymouth St., and the switchbox is in the alleyway through the shop.
  • Shoot the yellow box on the south side of the building coming from York St. Use the Brawn & Sons truck to get onto the roof. Shoot two more yellow boxes on the side of the larger building next to the roof. The switchbox is in the corner of the now-opened fenced area.
  • Switchbox is on the red loading dock beside the antenna building on the corner of York St. and Jay St.
  • Opposite of the Farm control point on Front St. The switchbox is between two green shipping containers over a small waist-high obstacle.
  • Underneath red scaffolding next to two portable toilets on Water St.
  • Use the ladder to the rooftop next to the underground entrance on Plymouth St. Climb the yellow drape to the left to get into a fenced area where the switchbox is in the corner.

After all nine antennas have been disabled, go to the midsection underneath the Brooklyn Bridge from Adams St. to find a small fenced area. Climb over the fenced area and go down the manhole to find a room full of electronics. Interact with the computer if it says 0/9 for antennas, then exit the underground to have the Redtail Hunter spawn.

Craver

The Craver mask requires interacting with four canisters around Brooklyn. If the canisters do not initially spawn, you may have to visit the red boat on the Brooklyn Heights shore to get them to appear. The four canisters are located:

  • In a tent within the food resource area near the Fulton Ferry Market control point.
  • Near tomato and green pepper boxes in the food resource area on Middagh St.
  • Underneath the hands mural in the water resource area on Cranberry St.
  • In the corner next to rows of stacked barrels in the water resource area on Pineapple St.

Once all are found, head to the red boat on the Brooklyn Heights shore and interact with the four cannisters at the center of the boat to cause the Craver Hunter to spawn.

Conqueror

The Conqueror’s mask is received after finding and exploding seven stuffed animals around Brooklyn. They will beep when nearby, and you just need to get close enough for them to explode. Here are seven stuffed animal locations:

  • The south road of the food resource area near Fulton Ferry Market control point will have a small electrical box on the side of the road. Climb onto it, then over the fence, and you’ll find the animal in the bushes.
  • Sitting on a table in an alleyway between Cranberry St. and Middagh St. dead end.
  • In a straight alleyway between Cranberry St. and Middagh St.
  • Climb to the tall building on Henry St. using the truck, shoot the lock on the gate, turn on the generator around the corner, interact with the computer back at the now unlocked door, then go back around the corner for another gate to unlock with the stuffed animal.
  • Climb the shed at the corner of Henry St. and Pineapple St. Climb the boxes to the right after reaching the rooftop, and the animal will be opposite the door.
  • In the courtyard at the corner of Pineapple St. and Columbia Heights. Climb up the slanted roof next to the BBQ grill, and the stuffed animal is underneath the umbrella.
  • On a bench in the corner of the northern Brooklyn Heights shoreline.

Once all are found, head to the entrance near a forklift on Furman St. to find a monkey stuffed animal near the entrance. Interact with it to spawn the Conqueror Hunter.

Tracker

The Tracker mask requires players to travel to the 192 apartment building next to the Farm control point. Inside, you’ll find a courtyard where the doors will close behind you, and you have to complete a movement puzzle to get out. That means walking in straight lines and changing directions after hitting a wall, almost like a sliding block puzzle. The sequence is as follows:

Up, Left, Up, Right, Down, Right, Up, Left, Up, Right, Up, Left, Down, Right, Up

You will have to start as soon as you enter the room. Done correctly, you will wind up at the RISE switch and will spawn the Tracker Hunter when interacted with.

Necronos

The Necronos mask can only be unlocked after completing the other seven hunters. Once done, head to the building to the right of the Warehouse control point. Go upstairs through the open door and interact with the whiteboard. Follow the flickering blacklights to the roof where the eighth and final Hunter will spawn.
