If your stash in The Division 2 appears empty for your level 40 characters, here is a workaround to get it to load properly.

The Division 2 Empty Stash Bug Workaround

The stash appearing empty is a known issue in The Division 2, which showed up in the new Battle for Brooklyn DLC. Thankfully, Ubisoft has provided a workaround for this, and you can get your stash items to appear normally by following the steps below:

  • First, fast travel to Washington, DC, and open the stash there.
  • Immediately fast travel back to Brooklyn, where your stash is.
  • This will cause a forced refresh, and the stash will display the previously stored items correctly.

Additionally, if you deposit any items into the stash while it appears empty, don’t worry, those aren’t lost. As soon as you force a refresh, the items will appear in the stash normally. If this happens again, repeat the steps as above, and it will work.

Since this is a known issue, Ubisoft is likely working on a proper fix to address it so you don’t have to rely on the workaround every time to access your stash items. On their official Trello, the bug is currently listed under “investigating,” but the workaround works for now, so it’s not a huge problem.

Additional Troubleshooting

A few other things you can do if the workaround above doesn’t work:

  • Restart The Division 2 on your dedicated platform.
  • Make sure that The Division 2 is updated to the latest version.
  • Verify game files if you’re also running into any other potential stability issues.
  • Check the server status to ensure everything is working on Ubisoft’s end.
  • Make sure your internet connection is stable, and restart the modem if you haven’t in a while.
