As you progress through the Forgotten Memories quest line, you’ll learn more about The Forgotten and the events leading up to the present day. From helping Goofy make some food to finding items for Mickey and Minnie, The Forgotten’s motivation to help out is rapidly deteriorating. This is only further proven as you help Mother Gothel, but you’ll have to find a special mirror for her to see this development! Where to Find the Jewel-Encrusted Mirror in Disney Dreamlight Valley
After talking to Mother Gothel in the Glade of Trust Dreamscape, search the area until you find an orange fishing circle. You’ll see multiple as you run around; they are the exact type you need to target to obtain this quest item!
However, you’re not guaranteed to find the jewel-encrusted mirror right away. During my first cast, I found an old ball that didn’t serve any specific purpose. In this situation, you’ll have to look around for another circle!
In my case, I ended up spotting the circle in the back corner of the area, near the Sunlit Plateau waterfall. However, the exact position differs slightly for each person, so you may have to angle your cast differently if it’s closer to the lilypads or off to the side.
Admittedly, I got lucky with where mine spawned, but as long as you cast your hook somewhere inside the circle, it’ll work fine in most cases.
